Leader of Pre-Development Coaching team

Born on May 12, 1981 in Thanh Hóa Province, Nguyễn Duy Đông matured from Thể Công, a tradition-rich incubator. Duy Đông spent most of his player career with Thể Công (11 years) before playing for Quảng Ninh Coal for one season (2007-2008) and Đồng Nai Club from 2008 to 2012.

Duy Đông strucked fans as an intrepid, fervid footballer, particularly with moments when he and Thạch Bảo Khanh impressed spectators while playing in the left corridor of the U23 Vietnam at the 2001 SEA Games in Brunei. Coaching has become his calling since he joined PVF in November 2014.
