Lê Thanh Phong joined PVF in 2010. Endowed with ideal physique, since his early days at the academy, he was put in the position of a center back by PVF coaches.

The boy did not let his instructors down by his outstanding performance. His auspicious physique gives Thanh Phong a competitive edge in good arial battles, bold pressing and twosome combats. With his composure and acute ball assessment, he poses tremendous challenges to the opponent forwards. He was named champion of the U15, U17, U19 tournaments and of the 2016 Vietnamese National Football Second League along with PVF youth teams.
