Trương Văn Thái Quý joined PVF in 2009 in their first recruitment in Quảng Trị. As a center midfielder, Thai Quy strikes everyone with his fervor, enthusiasm and readiness for impact.

His robust physical strength allows him to both launch attacks and actively retreat and aid the defensive line. Though he was not listed as a Vietnam U19 member in 2015, his marvelous performance at the 2016 National U19 final attracted Coach Hoàng Anh Tuấn’s attention.

In 2016, Thai Quy and the Vietnam U19 were named champion of the KBZ Bank Cup, won the bronze medal at the U21 Nations Cup in 2016, secured the Third place of the 2016 AFC U19 Championship, and earned a spot at the 2017 U20 World Cup.
